- Note
- Anilox Sleeve Cleaner FW 992XL – 2 sleeves each washing cycle ! • Fully automatic and extremely gentle cleaning process for all types of ink • Time saving and user friendly plug ‘n play technology • Minimal maintenance • Long unit life time • Low operation costs • Environmentally friendly cleaning In all the units from Flexo Wash the cleaning process is 100% automatic., so the operator is capable to prepare another printjob , while the cleaning equipment is cleaning the items. Washing: The sleeves rotate while heated liquid is sprayed onto the sleeves for about 5-15 min. The liquid makes the ink in the cells crack and loosen from the cell walls. Draining: When the washing cycle ends the sleeves continue to rotate while the cleaning liquid is drained-off and runs back through a filter into the tank for re-use. Duration is 2-3 min. Rinsing: To remove the cracked ink particles the sleeves are rinsed by means of high-pressure water. The high-pressure nozzle is mounted on a slide, which is moving along the sleeves. Duration is 1-2 min. Drying: The sleeves rotate while an air stream blows off water. The drying nozzle is also mounted on a slide that is moving along the sleeves. Duration approx. 1-2 min. (Depending on sleeve length) Microprocessor control: The unit is controlled by a microprocessor and the operator can easily change the various settings as e.g. washing time, rotation speed and temperature. The washing programs have been preprogrammed according to the following: • Program 1: Washing time 5 minutes • Program 2: Washing time 10 minutes • Program 3: Washing time 20 minutes These settings are password protected but can be changed Pumps: The unit has one diaphragm pump for spraying of cleaning liquid and it has one high-pressure pump for high-pressure rinse water. Filter: The unit has one filter, 50 micron, which will collect the ink particles. This gives a longer lifetime of the cleaning liquid. The filter is placed under the washing chamber and can easily be changed or cleaned. It is recommended to change the filter once a month or after approx. 100 wash cycles. Nozzles: In the unit two types of nozzles are present; Air nozzles and high pressure nozzles. The air nozzles are made of PWDF and the high-pressure nozzles are made of stainless steel. Tank of stainless steel: The unit has one tank for cleaning liquid (optional two tanks). The tank is placed underneath the washing chamber and it has a built-in heating element. Cleaning liquid can easily be filled into the tank through the filling funnel. Furthermore the tank has a valve in the bottom, which makes it easier to empty it. Alarms: Filter alarm: Reminds that it is time to change the filter. Service alarm: Reminds that it is time to arrange service for the machine. Liquid level alarm: Low liquid level. No washing is possible before the liquid level is normal. Liquid level: The tank has a transparent tube to visualise the liquid level and the tank has a liquid level control. Sensors: 3 sensors determine the route of the slide in proportion to the length of the roll. Traction stations: The roll is placed on the traction stations in the machine and is driven by an electric motor. The traction stations are adjustable according to the length of the roll. Exhaust: The unit is prepared for exhaust. When the unit is connected to your ventilation system, the exhaust can be connected to the Micro Processor and thus open and close automatically. Cleaning liquid: The cleaning liquid is heated by a heating element (1,5 KW). The temperature is visible on the display. For all ink types Flexo Wash recommends the following eco-friendly cleaning liquid: • FW Anilox + Cleaner. (Mixing rate 1:1 with water) This liquid is a non-polluting, alkaline cleaning liquid. The cleaning liquid makes the ink in the cells to dissolve and shrink so it is subsequently removed by high-pressure cleaning. This is a very gentle method and completely safe for all cell types. The liquid is filtered and reused Consumption data: (Pr. wash) Electricity: Approx. 1-1,5 kWh. Water: Approx. 10-15 l/min. during rinse Liquid: Approx. 0,05-0,2 l. per wash DIMENSIONS Max. total sleeve length incl. adaptor 1850 mm Max. sleeve diameter 180 mm Max. sleeve weight 2 × 25 kg Max. cleaning length 1700 mm Machine dimensions (L × W × H)* 2200 × 800 × 1805 mm Liquid tank 55L CONNECTIONS Electricity** 3 × 400V+N+PE,50 Hz, 16 amps Compressed air 6 bar-100 L/min Water (supply + outlet) Water 35°C Control system Microprocessor Drain Tank and Pump for Collection of Rinse Water Instead of flowing directly to floor drain, the rinse water outlet an be drained into a buffer tank and pumped to a holding tank for re-use or disposal. Process indicator lamp on top of the machine that indicates that the machine is in operation One set of standard adaptors for sleeves One set of customized adaptors for sleeves
